Teen Driving
UPDATE ON REOPENING POLICIES AND PROCEDURES

I hope you and your family are safe and healthy.
Though I have a reputation for being a clean, organized, and detail-oriented instructor, I have implemented even stricter policies and procedures to ensure a healthy and safe environment for my students and myself. Also, as an automotive detailer for over twenty-five years, I understand how to properly clean vehicles properly and thoroughly.
As of early-June, as permitted by the PA Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV), behind-the-wheel lessons have resumed.

Our New Normal...

All students will be required to wear a face covering.

I will always wear a mask before and during each lesson.

Social distancing will be practiced, as permitted and necessary.

Students and parents will meet me outside of home, school, or work.

Students will be required to use provided hand sanitizer immediately upon entering the vehicle.

All surfaces of the driver and passenger area will be cleaned before and after each lesson.
All concerns about wearing a mask must be discussed prior to the lesson.
Remember...

Students are required to have their Pennsylvania Drivers permit available.

Exceptions will be made for those students whose permit has expired due to COVID-19 and the DMV being closed during that time of quarantine.
As always, my objective is to provide a safe environment and deliver an exemplary level of education and instruction for every student every day.
I am looking forward to working with all of you and starting the "new" normal.

Learn Proper Defensive Driving Skills
Safe Driving Coach offers programs that provide both extensive driving instruction and individual driver concerns. We can also tailor programs to each student based on schedule, requirements, and budget.
NOTE: All Driver Programs Require a $75.00 Deposit.

Driver's Test at Local DMV
(Option for students completing the 6-hour program only) $195
Safe Driving Coach will schedule student at local DMV driver testing center and accompany the student for their driver's test. This service includes pick-up and drop-off at the student's home.
90 Minute Session (Per Session) $165
Our ala carte 90 Minute Session provides certified and professional instruction on any particular issue of concern. These focused sessions are excellent to address parallel parking, city and highway driving, merging, right of way definitions, bad weather conditions, and other issues.
30 HOUR ONLINE COURSE
This Online Driver Education course is up-to-date and loaded with multi-media videos, which you will find very informative and educational. It is designed to be affordable and accessible for all Teen drivers state-wide.
This online (virtual) driving school course is licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Education (DOE).
Special Needs Instruction
Todd Avery is trained and certified to provide expert instruction to drivers with special needs, including most learning difficulties, executive functioning issues, and attention deficit disorders. Our Behind the Wheel With ADHD driving program gives students in creating effective strategies and skills to manage the risks associated with all executive functioning challenges and driving.
